Agent Domain Name System 2.0 (CNNIC)

Abstract

Verbatim from the CNNIC official announcement (2026-09-30): "9月29日，在第七届中国互联网基础资源大会智能体标识与安全论坛上，中国互联网络信息中心正式发布智能体域名系统2.0。" The announcement states the system "采用高扩展性架构设计，打造以域名为枢纽的多标识融合体系，具备全网通用标识、服务发现、安全认证等核心能力", and that it "新增语义标签中文域名服务，提供智能体域名注册API接口，支持智能体检索、发现服务，并围绕地域、行业、企业规模等维度构建智能体观测视图", supporting the construction of the agent trusted infrastructure (ATI) and providing trusted identity authentication for agents. CNNIC states next steps will be supported by the National Engineering Laboratory for Internet Domain Name Management Technology and the Beijing Key Laboratory of Agent Identity and Security Assurance Technology, to support cross-domain service discovery, trusted authentication and secure collaboration. Related coverage of the same conference (Yingguang/CNR, 2026-10-04) reports that CNNIC released the system together with Wantlian Yida, and that nine broker-agent systems of manufacturing enterprises became the first enterprise agents to receive "智域.中国" agent domain-name identities after passing a guideline assessment, described as the first industrial-level application of an agent naming space for global addressability.
