Abstract

Huawei's fully open-sourced multi-agent collaboration platform, built by Huawei 2012 Labs and the Huawei Cloud AgentArts team, targeting a general-purpose AgentOS able to keep millions of agents running stably. Its flagship agent, JiuwenSwarm, concentrates the platform capabilities in harness engineering, multi-agent coordination and self-evolution. Reported figures as of September 2026: more than 40,000 stars, over 650 contributors and more than 3 million downloads, with deployments across 50-plus industries and 10-plus scenarios spanning finance, manufacturing, government, research and telecom; Huawei reported a Prefix Cache hit-rate improvement above 20 percent and a 15 percent reduction in time to first token. A representative case is China Southern Power Grid building a "digital doctor" for equipment on top of openJiuwen, combining hand, eye and brain into one multi-agent coordination architecture with reported accuracy above 90 percent and evaluation time cut to the minute level, shifting operations from experience-driven to agent-driven. Huawei presented the project at AGNTCon + MCPCon China 2026 (Shanghai, 6-7 September 2026) alongside its telecom path from A2A to A2A-T to OpenAN. Mirrors are also hosted on AtomGit.
